In Shadow Cards, you make a secret prediction. Before each round, you choose two cards from your hand whose value determines the points to be scored. If you win a trick, you get closer to your prediction. Only those who combine instinct and strategy will prevail after three rounds and win the game.
The question always arises: should I set aside the high numbers to score a lot of points at the end, or should I keep them to make it easier to win tricks during the game? Those who combine instinct and strategy can prevail and win after three rounds.
- Shuffle and deal all the cards so that each player has the same number of cards in their hand.
- Before the current round, you secretly predict, using two cards, the number of points you want to win.
- The suit played first must be followed. If you cannot follow suit, you must discard or cut. Red is always trump.
- The winner of the trick chooses a card from among those that have been played. Its value corresponds to the number of points won.
- Once all the tricks have been played, compare your prediction with the total number of points won.
- The closer your prediction is to the final result, the more points you win.
- The player with the most points after three rounds wins the game.
