Light in the Dark - Rangers of Thokaia: Enemy Pack is an expansion for the Fires of Thokaia expansion of the solo exploration game Light in the Dark, published by Archona Games. The objective of the game remains the same: to heal the Thokaia region and fend off its threats before a time marker reaches the end of the quest track.

This pack introduces a new enemy faction, the Rangers—a pack of wolves led by their leader, Kithras—who join the threats already present in the region. Its uniqueness lies both in the addition of this new enemy behavior—with its own movement patterns and artificial intelligence—and in the inclusion of screen-printed wooden meeples that replace the usual cardboard tokens for these enemies.

Integrating this expansion involves adding the new Rangers cards and tokens to the enemy pool used with the Fires of Thokaia narrative quests, replacing the cardboard tokens with the wooden meeples provided in this expansion as needed.

To some extent, the wolves and Kithras follow their own rules for movement and threat escalation, forcing players to adapt their usual strategy for managing actions and dice-based combat to face this new enemy profile.

The victory and end-of-game conditions remain those of *Light in the Dark* and its *Fires of Thokaia* expansion: the goal is still to complete your quests before time runs out.
