There is a god known as the Enemy, who desires the end of all civilisation. The King of the Gods fought him at the edge of the world. He had the chance to kill him at the cost of his own life, but backed down in a moment of cowardice. Having failed to rid the world of the Enemy, the King of the Gods withdrew. Before his departure, he entrusted mankind with a crown, a sceptre and an orb to ensure just rule in his stead. He then became the Exiled God and ceased to answer the prayers of mortals. Ever since, the Enemy has roamed the world as a man. Slowly but surely, his influence is leading humanity to its doom.
