The Beneath the Mountains of Madness stitched-edge playmat draws from the frozen passages described in Dyer’s account of the Antarctic plateau. The artwork carries a mix of glacial blue, cold white, and deep shadow that recalls the icy corridors carved by Elder Things and the city they left sealed beneath the range. The sigil of the Thing Beneath the Mountains rests at the center and echoes the moment Dyer claimed to see movement in the broken ice. 

The smooth cloth surface allows clean card placement and easy shuffling. The rubber backing freezes the mat in position, and the stitched edges protect the artwork as sessions press deeper into cold terrain.
It measures 24 inches by 14 inches and is a fabric surface with a durable rubber backing and premium stitched edge.
