Description

A portable art gallery

Born from the collaboration between Art of Play and award-winning design firm Stranger & Stranger, Ultimate Deck Playing Cards takes the artist-deck concept to its extreme: unlike standard decks where only the court cards are customized, every single one of the 54 cards in Ultimate Deck Playing Cards — from the numeric cards to both Jokers — features unique, hand-drawn artwork. The designs blend classical art references with modern illustration, with each card telling its own story; the King of Hearts in Ultimate Deck Playing Cards offers a modern take on the famous "Suicide King."

Exceptional finishes

The card backs of Ultimate Deck Playing Cards feature a highly intricate, mirrored design printed with raised black ink and gold foil accents. The tuck case of Ultimate Deck Playing Cards matches the ambition of its contents: heavy embossing, silver and gold accents, cryptic phrases along the sides, and a vintage-inspired tax stamp seal. Despite its artistic scope, Ultimate Deck Playing Cards is still finished for performance, suited for both magic and cardistry.
