Inspired by a famous board game with armies and dice, Conquests manages to evoke similar feelings, only with cards.
The games are fast and, thanks to the reinforcements kept in hand, they are tense until the end!
Conquer the world!
Deploy to all regions of the world. Attack an opponent's territory. Establish your empire and show your supremacy. Strategy, bluffing and risk-taking guarantee tense confrontations until the end.
How the game works
Each player starts the game with 5 cards in hand. When it's his turn, the player
Draws a card;
Perform one of the following actions:
- Draw 2 cards.
- Place a Region card in front of you, face up. It is forbidden to put down a Region already in play, no matter which player's Region it is.
- Attack a Region owned by an opponent: He announces his attacking Region and the one being attacked, which must be adjacent. Both players may choose cards from their hand as reinforcements, which they reveal at the same time. Each player adds the value of the die displayed on his own card, attacked or attacking, to the sum of the values of the Reinforcement cards he has revealed. If the total value for the attacker is strictly greater than that for the defender, the attacked Region is conquered by the attacker, who takes this card and places it face up in front of him. Otherwise, the defender keeps his Region.
How to win?
At the end of the game, each player scores 1 point for each card making up his largest territory. If he also has cards in his hand that duplicate those forming this territory, he adds 1 point for each.
