The goal of Shallow Sea is to have the most points at the end of the game. On your turn, you choose a combination of a fish and an adjacent tile. Place both on an empty space on your ocean board. When fish of the right color gather around a coral tile, the coral is completed and the tile is flipped over. Completed corals become a refuge for fish, so you must choose tactically which fish will inhabit the coral.
Use shells to attract fish and move them around, creating amazing combinations by completing multiple tiles in a single turn. Each tile representing marine life requires specific combinations of fish or coral. Choose a wide variety of creatures to enrich your ocean.
Customize your ocean to meet the unique scoring requirements of the Ecosystem cards. The game ends when there are only four free spaces left on your ocean board. At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins.
