On this erupting island, your goal is to lead as many dodos as possible to the center to keep them safe. Each dodo you evacuate earns you points, and the player with the most points wins the game. But nothing is set in stone: volcanic rocks fall randomly and block the paths, forcing you to constantly adapt. Between opportunities to seize and routes to optimize, you’ll need to make the right choices at the right time to save your dodos.
One dodo can hide another
In Dodo Volcano, your moves aren’t just for advancing—they also let you take control of your opponents’ dodos. When you cross an occupied space, you collect all the dodos there to form a stack that you control. Your dodo then becomes the leader and leads the entire group with it. This simple mechanic creates constant twists and turns and encourages players to keep an eye on everyone’s positions to seize the best opportunities.
Armagedodon
When your dodos can no longer be moved, the game continues for you. Keep playing by unleashing a joyful deluge of volcanic rocks on your opponents... Each dodo crushed earns you additional points. The game gradually transforms into a form of unpredictable bingo, where the final points are decided by the falling rocks, quickly leaving your opponents with no chance of escape.
