À la manière d'Arcimboldo

Description

Arcimboldo and his students must each create a "work" using the magnetic composition elements, fruits, vegetables, flowers and grains.

They will have to create the best interpretation of a title, composed of a word and a complement, without time constraints, and then vote for their favorite.

The game is played in rounds. At the beginning of a round, the Arcimboldo Master takes half a noun label, then half a complement label. He combines them as he pleases, the two half-labels being double-sided. Once the combination is chosen, the Master announces the title and places it in plain sight. The players will create works of art using the magnetic elements, fruits, vegetables, grains and flowers.

As soon as a player has completed his or her work, he or she rotates his or her frame board so that the other players can see it in the right direction. It's time for each player to comment on his or her work in a few words, starting with the Master Arcimboldo, then each player clockwise.

Once everyone has commented on their work, the players vote for the one they find most convincing. No stress of execution, just creation!

Contents

  • 120 composition elements (fruits, vegetables, flowers, magnetic cereals)
  • 84 half-labels (112 words and 112 different complements)
  • 6 individual trays
