Many years after Batman's retirement, young Terry McGinnis is knighted by the masked vigilante after boldly stealing his suit. Though inexperienced, Terry proves to be a skilled fighter. Bruce Wayne allows him to continue his mission but only under his supervision and guidance. Batman Beyond is the new protector of Gotham City.
In gameplay terms, Batman Beyond is fast due to his movement and associated skills. He is a jack-of-all-trades capable of excelling in combat, problem-solving, and manipulation.
This character can be used as an additional Hero choice for certain missions in the core box. He is playable in Versus mode (the Versus expansion is required to play this tactical 2-player confrontational mode). His power allows him to move and then perform a melee attack.
