Dreamlands – H.P. Lovecraft's Bicycle Playing Cards - Sand Edition

Description

A dreamlike journey through Lovecraft's Dreamlands

Dreamlands – H.P. Lovecraft's Bicycle Playing Cards – Sand Edition draws on Lovecraft's Dream Cycle, the series of short stories and novellas, including The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath, depicting a vast alternate dimension accessible only through dreams. The artwork follows protagonist Randolph Carter through surreal landscapes and encounters with strange entities.
Fully illustrated by tattoo artist Seta González, this edition's court cards feature iconic creatures from the Dream Cycle: Moon Beasts, Zoogs, Gugs, Ghouls, and Night-Gaunts.

A linen finish inspired by the colors of the Plateau of Leng

Dreamlands – H.P. Lovecraft's Bicycle Playing Cards – Sand Edition stands out for its color palette evoking the treacherous Plateau of Leng, one of the most dangerous locations in the Dreamlands. Unlike the classic Bicycle edition's Air Cushion finish, this version features a linen finish, offering a different feel and shuffle.
The tuck box accompanying Dreamlands – H.P. Lovecraft's Bicycle® Playing Cards – Sand Edition features its own specific embossing and thematic artwork, distinct from that of the Bicycle edition.
