Kingdomino – The Lost Treasures, uncover the hidden gems of your kingdom

Kingdomino – The Lost Treasures is a mini-expansion for Kingdomino, designed by Bruno Cathala and illustrated by Pauline Detraz, published by Blue Orange to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary. It enriches the base game with a treasure-hunting mechanic and an alternative victory condition, without adding much complexity.

What Kingdomino – The Lost Treasures offers

When a player manages to form a 2x2 square made up of 4 different landscapes in their kingdom, they discover a treasure: they take a Treasure token (Chest side up), place it at the intersection of the four landscapes involved, then flip it to the Gem side. Each gem then acts as an additional crown, oriented toward one of the four adjacent landscapes, boosting that territory's score at the end of the game. A Joker token can replace any type of gem.

End of game and victory condition in Kingdomino – The Lost Treasures

In addition to the standard Kingdomino scoring, the expansion introduces an instant win condition: if a player manages to collect all 5 different gem types in their kingdom, they immediately win the game, without waiting for the final scoring.
