The two enamel colors that I picked for the sample tokens were not quite right. The darker color is better, but I'll select a brighter reddish orange color for the production tokens. The antique gold style was clearly better for the tokens.
There's 27 tokens in the set, 20 smaller one value tokens and 7 larger five value tokens. The one value token is circular with a curled sandworm design. The sandworm forms an infinity symbol, which is a reference to the life prolonging qualities of spice melange. The five value token is five sided with a space scene. The scene has a heighliner, the two moons of Arrakis (The Hand of God is sculpted to have the hand-like impression on it), Arrakis itself and freighters in docking approach. The tokens are designed to be easily stackable. They have an antique gold finish with enamel covering the side with the mound of spice.
The dimensions of the tokens are as follows:
- One value token, approximately 25 millimeters in diameter and 4.5 millimeters thick.
- Five value token, approximately 28.5 millimeters in diameter and 4.5 millimeters thick.
