Himitsu Bako made with Yosegi marquetry using traditional techniques from the Akone region.
Different types of wood are used for the marquetry (no stain is applied to the wood).
Very meticulous finish.
NB: on boxes with yosegi-type geometric motifs, a very slight shift in the motifs at the sliding tabs is perfectly normal and does not constitute a defect.
Despite having only 6 movements, this hexagonal-shaped box is not easy to open, as its logic is different from that of rectangular or square boxes.
Each box is sold shrink-wrapped and comes with an opening solution.
We show all 4 sides of the box, but as this is a handcrafted product, there may be minor differences in design.
