There are 264 tokens in the C&C token set and keeping them organized can be a challenge. So I am rising to the challenge and here are a couple of new storage solutions.
Their components are cut out of 3 millimeter thick plexiglass sheet. The products are delivered assembled. No adhesives are used in the assembly. The boxes have sliding lids, which makes pouring out one token type easy. Each section has one partially open face, which helps getting single tokens out. The individual color token holders have higher usability than the storage boxes, because handing out individual player colors is very quick. The storage boxes take up slightly less space than the individual holders.
Product dimensions:
- Individual color holders, width 52,6 millimeters, depth 33,5 millimeters and 43,8 millimeters.
- Command box, width 107,5 millimeters, depth 64,4 millimeters and height 43,8 millimeters.
- Control box, width 103,8 millimeters, depth 40,3 millimeters and height 44,5 millimeters.
The individual holders are more expensive, because the assembly takes longer and they require 28% more raw material. There’s protective films on both sides of the components and removing them is fiddly. One individual holders has seven components and there’s eight of them, so there’s 56 components in total. In comparison, the storage boxes have only 20 components.
