Help the animals overcome their fear of water!
Flow is a cooperative game that plunges you into an exciting adventure of massive waves and split-second decisions. Help the cat and his unlikely companions reach the boat, placing tiles to create a path.
But the journey isn't easy - special cards provide additional tools and abilities to help our heroes along the way.
Can you guide them to safety before time runs out?
Set up:
Set aside the tiles and scenario cards for a first game. Shuffle the action cards and deal out 1 to 3, depending on the number of players. Place the board on the table and place the ship tile in the center of the board (face 4). Then arrange all the tiles face-down around the board. Place the 2 dice, bird tokens and action cards nearby.
Game sequence:
The first player starts the timer. All players take turns playing clockwise. On his turn, the player must perform one of the following actions:
- Pick a tile: take the tile of your choice and place it on the board, starting from one of the 4 animals and creating a valid path.
- Play an action card: the player plays one of the cards in his hand and carries out the action without taking a tile or re-drawing a card.
After one minute, the player whose turn it is takes the 2 Giant Wave dice and rolls them. He must remove all tiles not protected by a bird token from the row and column indicated by the dice. Then restart the timer and resume your turn.
The game ends when you manage to connect all 4 animals to the boat (victory condition) or when you run out of tiles (defeat condition).
