Bolt Action - British - Chevrolet CMP C60L 3 Ton Truck

Description

Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) trucks were a wide range of soft-bodied military vehicles produced in Canada for the armies of the British Commonwealth during the Second World War.

The 3-ton Chevrolet C60L 4x4 truck, along with nearly identical models built by Ford, accounted for more than 200,000 of the 850,000 trucks built in Canada during the Second World War - with Canadians providing the majority of motorized transport for the British Empire during the war.

The C60 series 4x4s were the most versatile of all the CMP trucks and many body types were produced, including ambulances, tankers, water tankers, cipher (communications coding/decoding) offices, senior officer vans, dental clinics, tow trucks, kitchens and general cargo versions. Numerous C60 4x4s modified for use in the Arctic were produced and shipped to Russia in 1943-44 as part of Canada's $1 billion mutual aid and donation program.

Contains a resin and metal vehicle and damage markers.
