Clash of Steel an alternative history

The Chieftain took over from the Centurion as the primary British tank and was one of the best all-round tank designs of its generation. Combining heavy armour, a powerful and accurate 120mm gun, and solid cross-country performance it was capable of knocking out any enemy tank with a single shot.

Laser Rangefinder:
The inclusion of a laser rangefinder, linked to the fire control system, allowed the Chieftain to quickly engage tanks as well as improving accuracy at long range.

Wet Stowage:
The Chieftain tank stored the propellant for its 120mm rounds in a series of recesses, surrounded by a pressurised water and glycol mixture that would soak the charges if the turret was breached by enemy fire and stop a catastrophic explosion.

This box contains:
  • 3x Highly Detailed Plastic Chieftain Tanks
