Arachnid War is an expansion for Beyond the Horizon which introduces a totally new planet map with additional mechanics of soldiers and monsters on the planet. It contains new dedicated player camps sheet and Arachnia planet game sheet.
Arachnids will make your Space Crew Members' life more difficult. On each of the Research Zones there is a monster that can be defeated to make excavation of samples easier. It is really hard to acquire research samples without defeating Arachnid. On each round you send soldiers to fight with the threat. You'll earn extra victory points for defeating monsters and clearing the way for the scientist to get those hard to get samples.
