Paper Tales is a subtle strategy game based on card combinations.
All players act simultaneously for a condensed, tense and dynamic experience. Its original unit aging system and rigorous space management provide great depth and a steep learning curve.
Each turn, players begin with a draft to choose their Units, based on their varied abilities. Then you need to manage your gold and available space to deploy the best combination of units. But time adds Age tokens to your Units and eventually sweeps them away, pushing you to renew your combinations. Fortunately, resources allow you to construct powerful Buildings, more than useful for building a wide range of strategies.
The two included expansions guarantee an enormous lifespan!
