Like the other males in the ever-present but mostly unseen Jaakuna, Katzu enjoys a life devoid of pleasure, rest or appreciation for his sacrifice. Myriad spiderlings cover Katzu's body, which slowly drains his blood to feed. Should he be killed, they abandon him in droves to find fresher prey. For the Jaakuna, this is Katzu's greatest contribution. 

Katzu's bow is surprisingly effective, but his real use comes from his Ki Feat. The ability to add more swarms, even as a melee trick, is powerful and can also help keep your Feat value high by adding an additional Kumo.
