Monikers: Family Edition, the party game for everyone from age 6
Monikers: Family Edition is the family-friendly version of the party game Monikers, published by CMYK Games. Like the original edition, the game follows the classic "Celebrities" concept: two teams compete to guess as many names as possible within a time limit, through three successive rounds using the same deck of cards. Its distinctive feature: all 440 cards have been fully rewritten to remove any mature content, obscure references or inappropriate humour, so that kids, parents and grandparents can all play together without a second thought.
How to play Monikers: Family Edition
Each player selects a few cards from those dealt to them to form the shared deck for the game. The two teams then compete over three rounds, consistently using this same deck: in Round 1 ("Say Anything"), you can freely describe the card (except saying the name); in Round 2, only one word is allowed; in Round 3, it's silent charades. Each player has a limited time (usually 60 seconds) to get their team to guess as many cards as possible.
End of game and scoring in Monikers: Family Edition
Once the three rounds are complete, each team tallies the number of cards guessed. The team with the most points wins the game. By reusing the same deck from one round to the next, the clues and charades gradually become family "inside jokes," guaranteeing laughs across generations.
