Retired Lawkeeper
Life in the Outlands takes its toll. Predatory Dog Brother Packs, Long-tailed Caravan raids, scuffles over land stakes, wandering forests, the alienness of it all. If Lawkeepers live long enough, they retire to Vandestad. Astute, seasoned and wise, they’re some of the best right hands a freelancer’s guilders can buy.
Gun Dog
The privations of pack life do not suit every homo canid. Some drift into Vandestad looking for different lives, though they often face discrimination from humans. Gun Dogs enjoy a measure of acceptance and success, working as dog soldiers and hunters. Some work the caravans, others the wilderness of the city’s streets.
