Mana

Description

A game where getting captured can sometimes prove to be the best plan of attack.

The Mana-Bird indicates the directions. It's up to you to choose the route of your Ronins to defeat the opposing Daïmio and win the game.

To win the game, you will need to capture the opposing Daimio.

Moves are made of 1, 2 or 3 squares depending on the value of the starting square. It is the Mana-Bird which indicates the directions. You can only move the Daïmio and the Rônins that you control (those of your color).

A captured Ronin is excluded from the board, but it may return if the Mana-Bird indicates to play on a square not occupied by a piece of its color. Capturing or being captured is an important part of the winning strategy. To win you will have to anticipate the moves to come.

With rules that are quick to learn, this game develops the spirit of anticipation and offers great depth of play.

Contents

  • 1 Magnet box
  • 1 Board of 36 spaces
  • 11 Wooden pieces (white)
  • 11 Wooden pieces (black)
