Most of the Jwar Isle has rats somewhere. Eating crops in the field, living amongst the stored hay in the barn and gnawing their way into the homes of samurai and peasants alike to feast on the refuse of the humans. This role does not satisfy the rat kami however. Creating ever greater kin to the rats, the nezumi are the hidden masters of the rodents of Jwar. Never seen by any who would survive, or only glimpsed as humanoid forms, nobody suspects anthropomorphic rats spy on every level of society.
Nonbo has a greater relationship with the kami and has been granted their gifts. Looked up to as a kind of prophet of the Rat Kami Nonbo has done more than any other to gather the Neumi together and advance their own mad, inscrutable agenda. Nonbo’s own feats are essential to an all-rat warband. Able to benefit friendly models as well as debuff enemies, she can change the odds to favour the, usually underdog, rat Warbands. In addition to this, to facilitate exactly these kinds of lists, Nonbo is packaged with a set of Special Cards and a theme card for all-rat warbands.
