Kutná Hora: The City of Silver join other ambitious guild leaders in mining and developing the famous silver city during its period of rapid economic growth and expansion in the 14th century - from the first discovery of silver near the Cistercian monastery to the construction of Kutná Hora, which quickly became one of the most important cities in Central Europe.
Each turn, players choose actions from a hand of double-sided cards to implement strategic plans such as mining, buying building land, obtaining permits, constructing buildings for their affiliated guilds, making a profit from their production and, of course, building St. Barbara's Cathedral.
The asymmetrical nature of the guilds available to each player makes for highly interactive rounds in which every decision has an interesting impact on the economy and on the other players as they develop their mines and build infrastructure on a shared board.
