New vampires are emerging from their lairs to infest the world with their corruption. An ancient clan of vampires is awakening from its slumber: the Khirnanian. The origins of this clan date back to the dawn of time. Before humans began to populate these lands, more primitive creatures were commonplace.

Heavier and bulkier, but less intelligent, they were common in the plains and hills of this region. Some scholars and men of letters believe that primitive humans killed them all when they claimed possession of these lands, but the reality is much more horrific.

An ancient being and its thirst for blood are responsible for the genocide of these ancestral cousins, whose only recognizable evidence of their existence lies in the corrupted forms of the clan's followers. After the massacre, the lands deserted of living prey, the entire clan fell into a deep sleep for centuries... until today!
