Take on the role of trainee journalists facing a demanding Editor-in-Chief, and try to write the best headlines for a given magazine.
In
Bonne Presse, each player takes it in turns to play the role of Editor-in-Chief, and the player with the most points wins the game.
The Editor-in-Chief draws 5 Word cards at random and chooses a Magazine for which the players will write this round.
Trainees try to write a good headline, not off-topic, with as many of the words as possible.
The Editor-in-Chief then validates the headlines that fit in with the theme of the magazine: they score one point for each word drawn and used. Then, he awards prizes to the funniest headline, and quite simply to the best headline!
Example:
What article title will you be able to write for Marmitouille magazine, the magazine for self-aware chefs, using these words: Travel - Sauce - Metal - Sausage - Rogue?
Contents:
- Game rules
- 2 marker blocks
- 5 pencils
- 1 Editor's pen
- 15 large magazine cards
- 1 cloth bag
- 225 Word cards
