The Basmachi, anti-Bolshevik Muslim fighters from Central Asia, fought the Russian Empire and then the Soviet power until 1934.
The set includes 16 figurines and a cannon and consists of:
- a leader, a flag bearer and a messenger
- nine infantrymen
- an archaic cannon served by an officer and three servants
