Go Cuckoo!

Description

Get your pulse ready, because it is vital in this game of skill!

All the nests are occupied and Kuki the cuckoo doesn't know where to leave her eggs... Can you help her create a safe home for her chicks? In Go Cuckoo! you must build a nest from sticks and prevent the precious eggs from falling out. Designed by Josep María Allué and Viktor Bautista, this game won the prestigious As d'Or award for best children's game in 2017. The illustrations are signed by Gabriela Silveira, responsible for the art of other games such as Fantasma Blitz. A game of Go Cuckoo! can last about 15 minutes in games in which 2 to 5 people can participate.

In Go Cuckoo! players try to build a nest on a tin can with wooden sticks, similar to those of the popular Mikado, which represent the branches of the nest. Each turn, players must pull out the sticks and carefully cross them to support the eggs. Care must be taken not to knock over other sticks or previously laid eggs. The first player who, after running out of eggs, manages to place the cuckoo Kiko in its new nest wins.

So, where do we start? During the preparation, each player receives the same number of eggs (if there are any left over, they are returned to the box). Next, all the sticks are placed inside the bottom of the can, which is also used to store the game. Now, let the game begin!
