Description

Toy Store 51, heroic plush toys against the alien invasion

Toy Store 51 is a cooperative deck-building game, published by DMZ Games as part of its "Kiwi Line," designed by Adrián Alba (known as Meffy, founder of Meffy Studio) and illustrated by José Soto. The story: a secret Area 51 laboratory sits right beneath a toy store, and alien experiments are trying to escape. Players lead a squad of heroic plush toys tasked with containing the threat before it reaches the outside world.

How to play Toy Store 51

Each player starts with a basic deck and buys Upgraded Plush cards from a central market to boost their combat and resource capabilities. The game emphasises chaining symbols or colours across cards to trigger powerful combos (drawing extra cards, generating more power…). Players must work together to defend three Doors, each with its own resistance value, against waves of increasingly powerful aliens (normal aliens, super aliens, up to the final boss).

End of game and victory condition in Toy Store 51

Players win by defeating the Mega Super Ultra Alien, the game's final boss, before all three Doors fall. If the third and final door falls, the aliens escape to the outside world and the team loses the game.
