Explore dungeons, study their inhabitants and become the next Professor of Dungeonology!

The university is home to the Dungeonology chair, which deals with the study of the environments and organization of different cultures, especially the most atypical and strange... almost Mythical!
Recently, the faculty lost its professor, and the dean is looking for a competent replacement. You're the ideal candidates for the job.

Set in the Renaissance-Fantasy universe of Nova Aetas, Dungeonology: The Expedition will take you on a journey of discovery to learn all about new civilizations and their customs. But be warned: the locals may not always welcome your intrusion...

The aim of the game is to guide a Doctor in his exploration of the dungeon, gathering as much information as possible about the creatures that reside there. All this Information will earn the player points, and the Doctor with the most points will submit the best Thesis on the race studied.

    Dans Dungeonology : L'Expédition, les joueurs incarnent des doctorants rivalisant pour décrocher un poste de professeur. Leur objectif est d'explorer des donjons, collecter des cubes de savoir et présenter la meilleure thèse.

    Un matériel soigné et immersif ainsi que des mécanismes de jeu originaux, mais on doit toutefois relever certaines limites comme un manque d'équilibre ou un thème pas toujours cohérent.

    Il s'agit d'un jeu au concept ambitieux mais imparfait, qui aurait, selon nous, mérité plus de développement. Réservé aux joueurs chevronnés, Dungeonology parviendra peut-être mieux à déployer son potentiel pour les mécènes Kickstarter possédant toutes les extensions. Bien que déçu par certains aspects, on doit reconnaître des qualités ludiques et une direction artistique réussie dans l’ensemble.

    Mais de loin pas un jeu indispensable ou incontournable ! Bof bof.
