Vampire La Mascarade - Héritage

Take control of vampire clans, develop your lineage and dominate the conflicts that bloodshed the night. Will you be able to prevail in this struggle through the ages? Or will you let your immortal rivals snatch victory from between your fangs at the end of the millennium?  Carpe Noctem!

In Vampire The Masquerade - Heritage, you play the role of an ancient vampire. You shape seven hundred years of vampire and human history in pursuit of ancient secrets, while trying to escape the Inquisition and trying to save what remains of your humanity.

Heritage is a fast-paced legacy game. In each game, players collect characters from a common reserve for their bloodlines. These characters influence different vampiric "battlefields" and help complete missions based on the story.

For example, a warrior born into nobility can support Joan of Arc to end the siege of Orleans, while altering the balance of an internal vampiric power struggle or attracting unwanted attention from the Inquisition. In addition to collecting characters from their lineage, players can also use the unique plot cards of the clan they are playing, modifying the rules of the game to match the character of their clan.

After each game, players have the opportunity to collect and store their achievements in their timeline, which serves as a chronicle of their actions throughout the seven hundred years of history and also influences the final outcome of the campaign.

In addition, players can permanently transform some mortals into vampires by playing cards and turning them over, revealing their vampiric side and giving them new abilities and a name. These are returned to the common pool and can be upgraded in future games. To keep the surprise during the hugging action (transformation of mortals into vampires), all character cards are pre-cut and you will discover the effect after doing the hugging action!

In this way, players advance through the story as the historical mission maps progress, unlocking new challenges, characters and rewards along the way.

Finally, the seven hundred years will come to a happy ending, as players fight to unravel ancient mysteries using the clues, allies and power they've gathered throughout the campaign.
