Since airships are spotted from a greater distance than surface ships, crews spying on them tend to have a long time to panic before their aerial adversaries go on the attack.
This is doubly true for Nasr Skyships and their variants.
Like the smaller Hirka and Alsaqr aircraft, they can originate from either the Sultanate or the Purple League.
Either allegiance will inspire fear in its enemies, for different reasons.
The Sultanate's Sky Navy has well-trained marines, fighting for the glory of their great power.
The other, equally terrifying enemy is Scheherazade's Purple League.
This is a band of bloodthirsty pirates whose Janissary stormtroopers seize any goods they can find and show no mercy.
Sometimes Skyships are equipped with Sabiha attack fighters, which are released to destroy ship defenses and "soften up targets" before the rest of the fleet arrives.
