Dystopian Wars: the naval battle miniatures game by Warcradle!

Since the coronation of Sultan Mustafa, Princess Scheherazade has entertained herself by using the funds she receives from her brother's government to pursue her research as a member of the Pact of Enlightenment.

She contributed to the funding and development of several Pact projects and served as the Pact's ambassador in several capitals during the early years of her brother's reign.

The exact role she played in the Alliance schism is unclear, as is our understanding of the event.

In any case, her talents as a leader and strategist led her to explore other avenues of profit and adventure - and she developed her own "Promethean Complex" into a veritable armory, perfecting many advanced weapons for sale to great powers or enlightened forces.

Her contact with the Alliance's "warmaster" Schneider piqued her interest in military activities and the romanticism of the mercenary life.

Not surprisingly, the Princess created her own mercenary team early in her Covenant career.

This "Purple League" is considered a vanity project, from what I've witnessed in the corridors of power.
Composed uniformly of noble adventurers and eccentric aristocrats, the organization has nevertheless acquired a reputation for great efficiency in certain circles.

Reports gathered on their operational activities speak of a technologically advanced force, composed of unique aerial vehicles and experienced crews, capable of working together despite their flamboyant personalities and wreaking havoc in their wake.

The Purple League has become a thorn in the side of the Sublime Porte, frequently striking at perceived threats to the sultanate without the government's blessing, at the whim of the exiled princess, and often getting into diplomatic trouble.

There is, however, a more worrying aspect to these concerns: if the sultan were to fall, would his infant son be able to rally the army to his side against the might of the House of Gold?

Would the exiled princess be content to let her nephew succeed to the throne she believed was rightfully his? And if she did intervene, would she bring the Purple League with her?
