Rail Barons of the World is a new universal game that can be used with any Railways of the World Series map that has a single player mode for 7 Railways of the World Series maps - Eastern United States, Mexico, Portugal, Nippon, Great Britain, Sweden and Australia.

Each Baron has an objective that the player must achieve to earn points while playing on a Railways of the World Series map.

The new single player mode introduced in Railways of the World Series adds new twists and challenges to 7 of the Railways of the World Series maps. The single player system was designed by Dávid Turczi and John Albertson.
