Israel 1948 - The First Arab-Israeli War contains three scenarios covering the three historical periods of combat, and special campaign rules for linking two or all three scenarios in a campaign game.
Scenario 1 “The Assault”: covers the invasion of the new State of Israel after the British withdrawal, from May 15, 1948 to the first truce of June 11, 1948.
Scenario 2 “Ten Days”: covers the Israeli counter-offensive from July 9 to 18, during the second truce.
Scenario 3: “Endgame”: covers the fighting in October 1948 after the end of the second truce.
The game is designed for players who want to be able to learn, set up and play a game to its conclusion in a matter of hours.
