Les Demeures de l'Épouvante, five closed-door adventures for Call of Cthulhu
Step inside five buildings in Les Demeures de l'Épouvante. This supplement for Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition offers two completely revised classic scenarios and three brand new ones.
Each adventure is designed for one to six players and their Keeper, lasts between one and three sessions, and is an ideal stepping stone for those who have already experienced the horrors presented in the scenario collections At the Gates of Darkness and At the Gates of Horror.
- Mr. Corbitt: A shy and reserved notable seems to be hiding a terrible secret. Will the investigators manage to solve this mystery and avert disaster?
- A Strange Old Mansion: The residents of Gamwell have long believed that the Fitzgerald mansion is cursed, but it seems to have finally escaped its sordid past. However, no one has seen the new owner, Arthur Cornthwaite, for quite some time. Could history be repeating itself?
- The Code: The investigators receive a telegram summoning them to Dr. Kenneth Connolly's home. Will they be able to shed light on the strange events afflicting Wellington Manor?
- The House of Memphis: World-famous magician Memphis the Great has been missing for weeks. Has he simply left on another of his legendary expeditions to discover magic, or is there a much more sinister explanation for his disappearance?
- The Nineteenth Hole: Renovation work at the Thistledown Golf Club is no picnic. After a series of rumors about illnesses and ghostly apparitions, the owner is now nowhere to be found. Darkness is descending on Scotland, and appearances are more deceptive than ever.
This supplement is designed to be used with the Core Set or the Keeper's Handbook for Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition, and possibly with Pulp Cthulhu, all available separately.
