The Ruins of the Lost Kingdom, a supplement to the One Ring role-playing game
In the western lands of Eriador, between the Misty Mountains and the Mountains of the Moon, the Hobbits found both Men and Elves. In fact, there remained a remnant of the Dúnedain, the kings of Men who came by way of the Ouistrenesse Sea, but they were dwindling fast, and the lands of their Northern Kingdom were falling fallow everywhere.
The Lonely Lands of Eriador described in The Lord of the Rings finally come to life and color in this supplement to The One Ring, the official role-playing game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. This region, often described as deserted, will become the setting for your Heroes' adventures, offering countless hours of gameplay.
- Chapter 1: Fog over Eriador offers a detailed guide to the regions that once made up the kingdom of Arnor - in particular the city of Tharbad.
- Chapter 2: Storm on the Horizon provides the Keeper of Legends with an array of narrative elements to establish the possible fate of the whole of Eriador, including descriptions of the many imminent threats, the characters you may encounter and their designs.
- Chapter 3: Places of Adventure adds twelve sites of interest to those presented in the base book - “historical” sites, mentioned in The Lord of the Rings or Bilbo The Hobbit, and others, created specifically for The One Ring.
