This scenario takes place during the Renaissance, around the year 10, and is designed for 4 characters, including beginners. But it can be adapted for more or fewer characters.
Three years ago, after leading a long hunt against the Black Druids, an officer of the Order of Musketeers obtained authorisation to create a unit stationed in Arverne country. He and the dozen or so musketeers under his command not only have the task of enforcing imperial law in the region, they also have to deal with the problem of the Black Druid: Macha of the Thousand Dead.
