The Old King's Crown is a card-based conquest game in which you play as the heirs to a vacant throne and battle for control of an ancient kingdom overgrown with vegetation.

Use unique abilities and leverage the traits of your followers to outmaneuver your opponents on a map that stretches from the towering heights of the castle to the dim light of the necropolis.

As the leader of your faction, you will openly claim your rights to the heralds and secretly position your forces, hoping to claim the locations that fit your plans. However, keep an eye on your rivals, as they too have agents and agendas, ready to thwart your best-laid plans.

Royalty, rebels, or trickery. Which crown will you wear?

In The Old King's Crown, players move their heralds to locations in hopes of claiming them. Players then simultaneously play cards from their hands, face down, to regions on the board. These are then revealed and resolved. Players who win these confrontations earn various rewards that strengthen their position and allow them to achieve the main goal of the game: influence. The player with the most influence at the end of a set number of rounds is declared the winner.
