Wilson Jeux Magnetic Wooden Chess Set, the elegance of wood in a tournament format

Wilson Jeux Magnetic Wooden Chess Set features a wood marquetry board measuring approximately 39 x 39 cm when open, a comfortable tournament size for home use. The pieces, in Staunton style, the most widely recognized design in the world, are made of boxwood for the white pieces and acacia for the black pieces.

A clever magnetic system, for a board that folds into a case

Wilson Jeux Magnetic Wooden Chess Set uses a magnetic system between the board and pieces, keeping them in place even with slight bumps or tilting. The board folds in half to form a travel case, closed with hinges and metal hooks, with individual felt or foam compartments inside to store each piece without damage.
