Mission Details

The lead actress of the film has been found dead… and you are one of the suspects. In Clap Mortel, each player takes on a character involved in the case, with their own memories, connections to the victim, and secrets.
Your mission is simple: investigate together and identify the killer among you.
Analyze the clues, confront each other’s stories, and untangle the lies until the final reveal.
Who was just playing a part… and who is really lying?

What’s in the Kit

The little extra? Designed for 5 to 8 players, Clap Mortel is a complete plug-and-play murder mystery party. Each participant plays a suspect… and anyone can be the culprit.
  • Character sheets (5 to 8 depending on your group), including backstory, objectives, secrets, and a QR code to discover your role (guilty or innocent)
  • Complete game booklets containing: game rules, context, evening structure, prologue, and sequences to read during the investigation
  • 3 investigation sequences that pace the evening and gradually reveal each character’s memories and revelations
  • QR codes to access Events A and B, and the final reveal: the identity of the culprit, the motive, and goals achieved
  • Setup guide for easy game preparation (printing, cutting, role distribution, setup)

How It Works

Print and prepare the game in just a few minutes using the setup guide: choose the 5, 6, 7, or 8-player version, prepare the character sheets, and set them out before your guests arrive.
Distribute the roles: each player receives their character sheet and scans a QR code to find out if they are innocent… or guilty.
Experience the investigation: the murder mystery unfolds in 3 sequences. At each stage, everyone reads their memories, shares information, reveals (or hides…) their secrets, and discusses with the group.
Unlock revelations via QR codes: Event A, Event B… leading up to the final reveal.
Accuse, vote… and discover the truth!
At the end of the evening, the group votes to identify the killer. The group wins only if they guess correctly.
