Flying Cats - 2-Pack No. 4, published by Exploding Kittens, is both an expansion and a standalone game of skill designed for two players. This pack introduces two new foam cat characters, allowing players to take on fresh challenges. The gameplay remains true to the series: it’s a frantic mix of miniature rolling and resolving Action cards.
This duo pack offers a condensed gaming experience, ideal for quick duels. Each character comes with its own set of Action cards, featuring a variety of dares and acrobatic feats to perform mid-flight. It’s the perfect expansion for those who already own the 4-pack and want to diversify their character combinations and increase the number of potential players at their gaming table.
Setup is extremely simple: each player takes their foam cat and their specific set of Action cards. Gameplay follows the fast-paced rhythm of the other games in the series: a roll, drawing an Action card, and immediately performing a physical challenge (clapping, touching your nose, meowing, etc.) before the miniature lands back in your hand.
The simplicity of the system allows for immediate immersion. This “Duo Pack” format is particularly effective for testing your opponent’s agility in intense duels. It doesn’t require a large playing area, making it a highly portable party game, perfect for travel or short breaks.
As in other versions of Flying Cats, the goal is to complete 5 challenges before your opponent. This pack features specific challenges that require a good deal of coordination. Speed is the key factor, as the foam miniature’s fall imposes a time limit—often very short—to perform the action required by the card.
The game ends quickly, with the winner being the first player to validate their points. Although designed for two players, this format fits perfectly into a larger collection if you want to combine different characters during games with more players.
In this pack, meet DJ Chat, the cat who loves good music, and Chat-vache, the cat who doesn't like to lose.
