The queen of pancakes, the queen of ladybugs, and ten of their closest friends have fallen victim to a spell that has plunged them into a deep sleep.
It's up to you to wake them up!
In Sleeping Queens, players must use strategy, quick thinking, and a little luck to rouse these nobles from their royal slumber. The twelve queen cards are placed face down on the table.
Each turn, you perform one of the actions offered by the cards in your hand: play a king to wake up and claim a sleeping queen, play a knight to steal another player's queen (unless she is protected by a dragon), play a potion to send a queen back to sleep (unless she is protected by a magic wand), use a jester to try your luck with the top of the deck, or discard one or more number cards to draw more cards.
Each queen card has a point value, and as soon as all the required queens have been awakened or a player reaches the point threshold, the game ends and the player with the most points wins.
