Dodelido is a fast-paced card game where speed and observation are key.

Each player receives a deck of cards divided equally, which they keep in a face-down pile. Three discard piles are placed in the center of the table. The youngest player starts, and the game is played clockwise.

On their turn, a player reveals the top card of their pile and places it face up on one of the three discard piles, following a cyclical order (pile 1, pile 2, pile 3, then back to pile 1, etc.). They must then immediately announce:

- An animal if there is a majority of that species visible.

- A color if one color dominates.

- “Dodelido!” if there is a perfect match between animal and color.

- “Nothing!” if there is no match.

  • Special cards: If a turtle is visible on the piles, the player must add “Uh” for each turtle before announcing (e.g., “Uh, Uh, Blue!”).
  • When a crocodile is revealed, all players must tap the card as quickly as possible. The slowest player collects all visible cards and starts the next round.
  • Errors: Any incorrect announcement, forgetting to say “Uh” or hesitating for more than 3 seconds is considered an error: the player takes all the visible cards and starts the next round.
