Endangered: Center for Biological Diversity Promo Cards is a small set of promotional cards for the cooperative board game Endangered, published by Grand Gamers Guild (released in 2020).
These cards were created through a collaboration between the publisher and the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD), a real-world environmental organization that also helped ensure the game's scientific and political accuracy.
The set contains two special power cards offering alternative abilities for two of the game's roles:
- The Environmental Lawyer: a power reflecting the CBD's real-world focus on litigation and legal advocacy, enhancing their ability to influence ambassadors.
- The Zoologist: a power focused on the scientific side of conservation (managing animal populations and habitat restoration).
At the start of the game, a player choosing one of these two roles can swap their default special power for the promo version to change their strategy.
