Each turn, you can choose between:
- sending an animal spirit to a grove to try to win it
- transforming yourself to gain more powerful spirits to improve your deck or hand Fox spirits rely on cunning and movement, Owl spirits on arcane powers and unexpected twists, while Bear spirits rely on pure strength.
When you win a grove, a Venerable Spirit grants you Domination points, but replaces one of your spirits and reduces your strength.
Bloody Grove offers a wealth of strategy with many choices to make each turn.
