Carcassonne: Expansion 5 - Mayors & Messengers adds new elements to the game mechanics.

Mayors compete for the favor of knights while attending crisis meetings at the town hall. Messengers and scarecrows will help you expand your influence.

This box includes:

  • 12 new terrain tiles and 6 town hall tiles: Place your town hall anywhere to remove your opponents' mayors.
  • 6 mayors: The mayor can be placed in occupied cities and earn you knights.
  • 6 messengers: A messenger on a road that has just been completed moves to another road or city.
  • 6 Scarecrows: The scarecrow can be placed in occupied fields and earn you peasants.
