Adélaïde Sable, owner of the Club des Illusionnistes, is also a huge star. People come from all over the world to see her most famous magic act: the Mirror Traversal. The trick is going according to plan, when suddenly the room fills with smoke and a shrill scream is heard. The smoke begins to clear, but Adelaide has disappeared.
